Fall Fashion Favourites

I wore this outfit to a family engagement party this past weekend and got so many text messages about the jumper and boots after posting a photo on Snapchat, that I thought I’d share the outfit details. Personally I’m obsessed with following bloggers and Instagramers who actually share their outfit details – it’s how I plan most of my outfits and do a lot of my own shopping.

During the summer months I pretty much live in jumpers. They are so comfortable and can be easily dressed up and down. The transition to fall and winter clothing is always sad when I need to retire my summer staples.

That’s why I was so excited when I found this adorable ‘winter’ jumper that can be dressed up with my newest (and currently favourite) pair of fall boots. I’m just love them both!

Here are the Details:

1. ZARA Jumpsuit: This is so flowy and comfortable. I’d be lying if I didn’t admit the buttons up the front take some patience to do up. But personally I feel so great in this jumper that it’s totally worth it. I’m also really weird about wearing my hair up unless the neckline is high, and this is the perfect outfit for a cute and easy topknot. I’m wearing a size M and I’m 5’8″ and usually a size 8/10.

2. ALDO Ociwen Thigh High Boots: Okay, these boots are literally my favourite purchase of Fall so far. I’ve always loved a high above-the-knee boot. I think it’s so sexy, yet also really covers up your legs when you’re wearing skirts or jumpers in the winter. However, I’ve always had a problem finding boots that actually fit my calves and I’m super picky on the fit and how they look. These boots are made of a spandex suede that looks structured and expensive, but slides on easily and comfortably. Also the heel is high enough to be dressy and low enough that you can dance all night. 😉
Best part, they were ONLY $99! I was so excited at that price, I got them in both colours.
I picked mine up at the Aldo outlet on Yonge Street by the Eaton Centre. But it looks like you can get them online with this link, too.

3. ZARA Over-Sized Pocket Coat: Okay, full disclosure – this jacket is not the exact same as the one I have. I got mine last year from Zara and they don’t carry it anymore. I’m really into the no button style of dressy coats. I feel like it shows off your outfit still and looks super cute on. Maybe not the best decision for warmth, but I’ve always been okay! Mine is a cross between the one linked in the title and this.

Happy Shopping!!
