Gratitude For Blessings Amongst Fear (+ A Journal Exercise For You)

Today I’m grateful for slowing down.
I believe the Universe is always delivering to us exactly what we need. Even if it can initially appear negative, there are blessings in every situation. While I am not taking away from the severity of what’s happening in the world, I also think the masculine energy has been at an all time high.
Regardless of gender or sexuality, both sexes are meant to have both feminine and masculine energy.

Masculine energy is about doing – action, protector, systemized, analytical, impatient, assertive and logical.
Feminine energy is about being – flow, creativity, intuition, connection, empathy, nurturing, and emoting.

There is no right or wrong energy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
However, the world as a collective has been heavily in the masculine, and our souls are screaming for more feminine.

This has been the case in my own life. I am a ‘do-er’ and I always have been. But in my work I hold a strong feminine energy for my clients. Holding lots of space in a mothering way.
With my life being ‘do do do’ and my work being ‘give give give’ – I’ve been feeling like I have little time for myself. I’ve been very called to slow down, fill up my own cup and seek out support for myself.
An infusion of going within and feminine, mothering energy…
AND NOW I’M BEING FORCED TO DO THAT!
And so are you.

God makes no mistakes. This is the perfect moment for us all to collectively balance out the energy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀

This week I challenge you to remain in gratitude.
If you said no other prayer to connect to your source but THANK YOU, it would be enough.
It’s easy to focus on the dark side of what’s happening in the world right now, but I challenge you to go against your normal instincts and focus on the blessings like slowing down, quality time with family, time spring cleaning and more.

GRATITUDE CHALLENGE

I recommend doing this first thing in the morning, but anytime that works for you is great.

1. Get a journal
2. Take 5 deep breaths
3. Write out 5-10 things you are grateful for today
4. Feel the energy of gratitude in your body
5. Say thank you our loud
